Gas leak detection Services:
Gas Leak Detection System (SELMA) is a diagnostic tool for the detection of gas leakages in urban areas. The system detects gas leaks by simply driving down the street past the inspection area. Utilizing infrared detection the unit is able to detect small gas leaks rising from main pipes located under the road surface.
• Inspection of high and low pressure gas distribution networks
• Detects very small leakages
• Based on a pulsed IR laser system
• Detects leakages by utilizing two independent laser detection systems
Intelligent Pigging Services:
Gastech facilitate pigging services of pipeline in the oil industry this refers to the practice of using devices known as “pigs” to perform various maintenance operations on a pipeline. This is done without stopping the flow of the product in the pipeline. Cleaning and inspecting the pipeline by inserting the pig into a ‘pig launcher’ an oversized section in the pipeline. The launcher station is then closed and the pressure driven flow of the product in the pipeline is used to push it along down the pipe until it reaches the receiving trap that is called the ‘pig catcher’.
